It is time to get on the books for
Winter Steelhead. There is a good push of fish starting to
make there way into the Cowlitz and Lewis Rivers. This
weekend marks the kick off for winter runs and we should be
into full swing by December 10th. We will be primarily
fishing with light tackle and side drifting to catch these
chrome acrobats. These winter steelhead love to jump and go
for long runs, we commonly catch many winter fish over 15
pounds and several in the 20 pound class. So if you are just
looking for some great steelhead fishing or for that trophy
20 pounder we will be able to make that happen for you.
Some of you may have family coming into town for the
holidays and this would be a great opportunity for them to
experience one of the Northwest greatest fisheries. We have
steelhead dates available Dec – March with mid Dec to mid
Jan being the peak for early run fish and mid Feb – mid
March the peak for late run fish. Be sure to get back to us
right away for the best dates.
